Conor joined HASP in search of new challenges after nearly a decade on the academic track. He held a Lectureship in Machine Learning at the University of York until 2024, where he managed a research team and led on the development, launch, and delivery of the flagship MSc Data Science programme.

As a Data Scientist/Engineer at HASP, Conor looks after the team’s “data plumbing”. He’s responsible for engineering and maintaining scalable end-to-end data pipelines to keep information from HASP’s data partners flowing smoothly to the users that need it. He makes sure that his team has reliable, well-structured data to work with so they can focus on data product delivery rather than debugging!
